Chuck Norris Kicks Logic in the Face

I have to be honest. I'm a little apprehensive about calling out Chuck Norris on my blog. I can't see Chuck, and legend states that I may therefore be mere seconds from swift and terrible retribution.

However, I feel that I cannot pass up this little gem. Mr. Norris has politicized even the birth of Jesus by suggesting that He would have been aborted under the affectionately-known Obamacare. From Townhall.com:
Lastly, as we near the eve of another Christmas, I wonder: What would have happened if Mother Mary had been covered by Obamacare? What if that young, poor and uninsured teenage woman had been provided the federal funds (via Obamacare) and facilities (via Planned Parenthood, etc.) to avoid the ridicule, ostracizing, persecution and possible stoning because of her out-of-wedlock pregnancy? Imagine all the great souls who could have been erased from history and the influence of mankind if their parents had been as progressive as Washington's wise men and women! Will Obamacare morph into Herodcare for the unborn?
Good point, Chuck, and with unassailable logic. But as we near the eve of another Christmas, I wonder: what would Jesus have to say about the fact that we're taking money away from poor people in order to prop up multimillionaire bank barons? Or the fact that your ability to see a doctor depends on your access to money, or that we've so secularized Christmas that it's nothing more than a buying spree? What about the richest nation in human history allowing poverty, homelessness and hunger to persist while we build bombers and tanks?

I can read the Bible too, Chuck. And I think Jesus is a lot more concerned about our pharisees, our money-changers, and our outcasts than anyone on your side of the ideological spectrum seems to be. Abortion is a moral issue, and I have my own issues with it. But the fact that Chuck Norris and his ilk are exploiting faith to scare and provoke people into supporting a status-quo political ideology is reprehensible.

Thanks, Max. Couldn't have said it better myself! How in the name of all that's logical did Chuck Norris ever have a career in the first place?

Oh no, you done landed on Mr. Gilmore's property! Watch your back.

This photo is incredibly fake.

Chuck's face is photoshopped on,
and you can see on the cardboard sign how it was smoothened out to put what they wanted on there.
Check the difference on the two bottom corners. Before, you can see lines from the cardboard, and then it goes smooth, and back to the lines.

FAKE!

at least get better at photoshop if you are going to start making accusations of people and posting 'real' pictures of them.

....The article is not about the picture, dudes. The picture is just a funny picture posted to make you laugh.

Dear anonymous photo criticizer,

That's brilliant...you caught me. How did you ever detect that the picture was a forgery? I'm baffled. *Snark*

Of course the picture is fake. That's the joke. It is an obvious photoshop, which is intended to satirize the content of what he had to say. I didn't even make the picture, I just found it and thought it was a funny, fitting image.

Oh, and I'm not making accusations. I'm quoting him directly.

Thanks for reading.

I liked Chuck better when he was doing action movies and martial arts instead of when he blathers about his backward political views. Now bear in mind, I have no problem with people who have different political views but what he says for the most part is nonsense. Mr. Norris needs to realize that the 1970's are over and should step into the 21st century like everyone else. Hopefully, they can put back Walker, Texas Ranger on the air and give him something more useful to do.

We're not paying for the bank millionaire barons, other banks that have not been affected by the recession are paying up from their security reserve funds. Chuck Norris is great

Oh no man you dare question Chuck Norris?! But on a serious note he does have a good point but thank you pointing out what needed to be said. *gets roundhouse kicked in the face by Chuck Norris, dies*

You're entirely right; the obamacare policy would ensure that those who otherwise could not afford healthcare will get what they need to survive. But why can't they afford healthcare? The problem is NOT the government, which is by no means perfect, but the problem is the people that this healthcare bill is designed to protect. Anyone can get a job if they try. Anyone can rise up in that job if they work harder. I am not anti-Obama, but I do not think that his healthcare policy is the best. Supporting those who cannot support themselves simply gives them no reason to BEGIN supporting themselves.
However there is no blanket solution; some people may just be sincerely unlucky, and perhaps lost their job or suffered huge unpayable medical trauma, but a majority of the americans dependent on this bill are not like that. They are simply the people who choose to leech off of what the government spoonfeeds them. For example; food stamps. I stand by Chuck Norris not just because he could strangle me with my own intestines, but also because he makes sense.
